About Me
Welcome to my personal website.
Firstly, this whole site is really just a collection of views on random topics, from myself and from others. There's more twisted humour to what I write on this site than fact, and if you manage to read the content without having a laugh then you've either got no sense of humour, or have come to this site with the wrong state-of-mind. If you know me, it should be a good laugh regardless.
I'm male, in my early twenties and studying at the University of Queensland. I don't want to give too much information away which might make me identifiable though :-).
This site started off years ago (around 1999) as just a few links and a bit about myself. In about 2001 I decided to take the plunge and register the domain name 'unleadedonline.net'. Since then the content has grown, and the design slowly improved to what you see today. If it wasn't for being a bored undergraduate for so many years, it would have never got the required attention of course.
A few random bits:
Music
I enjoy pretty much all music, except for industrial, which is nothing more than 'white noise', rap and ultra-fast seizure-inducing techno. Jazz, Classical, 70s, 80s, 90s and the popular mainstream all goes well with me, except for teenie-bopper of course.
I'm not a big fan of actually buying music. I'd fall into this 'new age' demographic who feels that $30 for a CD is not worth the one decent track, and twelve pathetic filler tracks you get. Affordable music downloading services do exist from third-parties (Eg, Not from SonyBMG et all) which overcome this limitation however. Embrace them.
'Unleaded' Online?
The name 'Unleaded' is derived from the days when I used to play a lot of computer games with friends as at LAN parties (In ~1998). Since your on-screen character doesn't use you real name, you have to think of your own online-identification. 'Unleaded' was derived from the fact that I was pretty good at playing Quake (a 3D first-person shooter game) in those days, and hence, quite unkillable ('The lead from your gun never hits me', at least I thought so at the time). The name has stuck since then.
Sport
I'm quite a fan of Football (That being Soccer) and Cricket. I love both games as they are great to watch, and extremely fun to play (at all levels).
I'm a big fan of any sport to be honest though, always up for a social match of anything with friends.
