| Steve Irwin: We'll miss you mate! |
What an absolute Tragedy.
Granted, I, like every other Australian, would pass him off in life due to our inherent tall-poppy syndrome, but now the guy has died in such tragic circumstances, you come to realize what an great loss this really is.
It's mad, I always saw him as invincible. I would have thought if anything was going to get him it would be a crocodile. I find it a bit hard to comprehend for some reason that some crazy carefree energetic guy can be killed. It just doesn't sit right.
He was a legend who died before his time. A true Aussie legend who did more for conservation in the world than all of the conservation groups combined.
Rest In Peace Mate! You will be sorely missed.
You can download the 'Enough Rope with Andrew Denton' interview with Steve Irwin (2003), here. A must watch if you haven't already seen it. |

| YAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHH AhHAAHAAHAH! |

It's going to take a week for the adrenaline to get out of my system after the last amazing eight minutes of play (when we scored our first ever world-cup goals). As for the rest of the match, I'll be getting the dentist to see how much I've grinded away. :-)
Bring on Brazil!
Download the last 8 minutes of the match here (200MB Xvid).
Wasn't it ironic that Japan were sunk by a couple of Aussie 'subs'? :-)

| Make your mark on Google Maps... |
All you need is...
- One large open field, preferably covered with thick wheat crop.
- A car, or large tractor with a mower attachment
- Spare time… and somebody checking for a farmer with a gun.
Once you have these, simply flatten or mow the grass, and in a few months time, your message will be clearly visable from space and hence, google maps.
Interestingly enough, I see Google has finally managed to get their hands on street data for various Australian cities, which includes Brisbane as well. This should give Telstras Sensis a run for their money. |
